#Saitek x52 sst programming software windows 7
I run windows 7 64 bit, and even though the saitek x52 has problems for some, i have never had a problem running one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but my product is defective. im almost positive this is software/driver related, could someone please help me? all other info ive seen is about the throttle and mfd not working, not the joystick. i am on a laptop, and use a wireless mouse. there are a lot of other devices i dont recognize there, but i dont want to mess anything up. i think this has to do with windows using the wrong drivers, but ive checked the device info and seen the saitek hid, and saitek usb, both are using the right drivers. I know its not the cable, because the power button is on, and for a moment, when plugged in, the lights on the stick light up just fine(when the usb is plugged in) then after the windows "dink" sound it makes when a device is plugged in or removed, the lights go off, and the joystick doesnt function. the problem i have is that the throttle and mfd function normally, but the joystick does not register at all. ive installed from the disc, and even downloaded the updated drivers. Its been 5 days, with no response, and i would like to see if someone here knows whats going on. Here is the letter i sent to the guy i bought it from, AND saitek. if so, check all the way at the bottom, there is a cash reward if you can successfully resolve my problem (provided its not hardware related). I know that a lot of people here use the saitek x52, and maybe you can help me.
#Saitek x52 sst programming software 64 Bit
i have heard plenty of horror stories about windows 7 64 bit and saitek products, but almost all of them are due to people not knowing what they are doing. apparently, neither does the jerkoff i bought it from. I bought a refurbished x52, and saitek has almost NO customer support. The FreeSpace Universe Reference Project.
